Feral, wood pigeon and other bird species

Moles

Moles do not hibernate - they work throughout the year and feed on insects and worms. The female has one litter a year of between 2-7, but usually 3-4, with breeding taking place around February to June. The young are fully mature at 5 weeks and on average live between 2 and 5 years. Moles tunnel around 150-200 ft per day and with how many moles there are per litter, the amount of damage can get out of hand very quickly.
